Newly Separated A-list Celebs Winslet and Bullock Get Bingo Blind Dates

It's tough at the top: one day, you're married to Oscar winning director Sam Mendes. The next day, you're a single mum looking for love. We asked the fans on Costa Bingo's Facebook site who they would pair the love-lost duo of Hollywood leading ladies up with.

Rebecca B wondered if there was any need for more men in their lives; "Forget the men. They could just get together. I am sure they have had enough of them!" She said.

Emily Reece said: "I'd suggest Colin Firth for Kate Winslet, as they've both got English backgrounds and would make a very cute couple. For Sandra Bullock, I'd pair her with Jack Black so he could make her laugh through these tough times."

Comedy and cheering up the recently separated women seemed to be a concern for Costa Bingo's considerate fans. "I am thinking the girls could do with having a laugh. So I would pair Sandra Bullock with James Corden. She could do with cheering up," said fan Paul C. "For Kate Winslet, I would match her up with Matthew Horne. They can hang out together and keep each other in stitches."

For Kate Winslet, it was no surprise that several fans couldn't resist bringing the Titanic back to the surface and suggested that the onscreen chemistry between Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio could be recreated in the real world. "Their spark in Titanic was... Well.... Titanic!" said Clare W.

Sara Greenall suggested that 'badboy' Jason Statham would do Kate Winslet 'a bit of good', and very kindly offered Sandra Bullock her husband.

Sean Penn was proposed as a potential breeding partner for Sandra Bullock because 'they would make good babies' according to Lynne D. She also suggested that George Hamilton could be a good match for Ms Winslet because 'the old boy would teach her a thing or two'.

Costa Bingo room manager Debbi Gent said: "It's very sad when any marriage breaks down but it does seem to happen in Hollywood rather a lot," she said.

"I'm thrilled that - once again - our loyal army of bingo fans has raised themselves to the challenge of finding new love for both Kate Winslet and Sandra Bullock. I am quite prepared to offer both the lonely women accounts at Costa Bingo. They would be able to chat, enjoy some free bingo, and make some new friends. Who knows where it could lead. Perhaps, Costa Bingo will be Hollywood's new matchmaker!" She said.
